Santiago Alvarez and Osvaldo Mitat

Havana, Aug 11 (RHC-Granma) While Washington issued his "list of state sponsors of international terrorism", with which defames the nations that oppose its hegemony, a public meeting of the so-called Cuban Patriotic Junta quietly unfolded in Miami and elected as vice president the arms dealer Osvaldo Mitat, right arm of the main partner and accomplice of the terrorist Luis Posada Carriles, and the businessman Santiago Alvarez Fernández-Magriña.

Mitat and Alvarez were part of the crew of the Santrina shrimp boat which introduced the international terrorist Posada on U.S. soil in 2005. Both refused to testify against the old murderer.

In November 2005, Mitat and Alvarez were arrested for illegal possession of an arsenal of weapons. In 2007 a willing judge reduced their sentences to just a few months.

In this recent meeting of the organization founded in April 1980 by Manuel Antonio "Tony" Varona, a key player in various murderous conspiracies organized against the Cuban leader Fidel Castro, was appointed President, Antonio Esquivel, known terrorist and head of the Revolutionary Recovery Movement (MRR).

On February 17, 2006, the same Esquivel, along with other anti-Cuban leaders such as the swindler and murderer Tony Calatayud, from the National Cuban Congress (CNC), Rodolfo Frómeta from the F-4 Commando, and other "military chiefs" of Alpha 66 , proclaimed the creation of a committee to "overthrow with bombings" the Cuban Revolution.

Another terrorist with a long history of criminal activity, Jesus Permuy, took the oath to the new directors of the Patriotic Junta. Permuy is a declared leisure partner of Orlando Bosch and Luis Posada Carriles, both responsible for the explosion in flight of a Cubana Airlines plane and a large number of terrorist attacks.

La Habana, 11 ago (Granma-RHC) Mientras Washington difundía su "lista de países patrocinadores del terrorismo internacional", con la cual difama a las naciones que se oponen a su hegemonía, una asamblea pública de la llamada Junta Patriótica Cubana se desarrollaba tranquilamente en Miami y elegía de vicepresidente al traficante de armas Osvaldo Mitat, brazo derecho del principal colaborador y cómplice del terrorista Luis Posada Carriles, y del empresario Santiago Álvarez Fernández-Magriñá.

Mitat formó parte con Álvarez de la tripulación del Santrina, barco camaronero que introdujo al terrorista internacional en territorio norteamericano en el 2005. Ambos se negaron a testimoniar contra el viejo asesino.

En noviembre del 2005, Mitat fue arrestado con Álvarez por posesión ilegal de un arsenal de armas. En el 2007 un juez complaciente redujo a unos meses sus condenas con la entrega a los agentes federales de otro alijo de ametralladoras, explosivos y lanzagranadas.

En esta reciente reunión de la organización fundada en abril de 1980 por Manuel Antonio "Tony" Varona, personaje clave de distintas conspiraciones asesinas organizadas contra el líder cubano Fidel Castro, se nombró a la presidencia a Antonio Esquivel, connotado terrorista, jefe del Movimiento de Recuperación Revolucionaria (MRR).

El 17 de febrero del 2006, el mismo Esquivel, junto a cabecillas tales como el estafador y asesino Tony Calatayud, del Congreso Nacional Cubano (CNC), Rodolfo Frómeta, de los Comandos F-4, y los "jefes militares" de Alpha 66, proclamaban la creación de un comité para "tumbar a bombazos" a la Revolución cubana.

Otro terrorista con largo historial de actividades criminales, Jesús Permuy, tomó el juramento a los nuevos directivos de la Junta Patriótica. Permuy es un socio declarado de ocio de Orlando Bosch y de Luis Posada Carriles, ambos responsables de la explosión en pleno vuelo de un avión de Cubana de Aviación y de un sinnúmero de atentados terroristas.
