Chief of U.S. Interests Section channeling money from terrorists in Miami to mercenaries in Cuba "Roundtable" program reveals new, irrefutable evidence of conspiracy between terrorist mafia in Miami, Washington authorities and mercenary factions on the island by Pedro de la Hoz y Alberto Núñez THEY cannot plead ignorance or innocence. All of them acted with total awareness of what they were doing and complete premeditation. They knew where the money was coming from, why they were making themselves available to carry it, and for whom it was intended. Everything was irrefutably demonstrated on Part Three of the "Roundtable" program, "The Scandalous Terrorists-Mercenaries-U.S. Government Connection," broadcast on Wednesday, May 21, and hosted by journalist Randy Alonso. It was shown that the chief of mission and another official in the U.S. Interests Section in Havana played the role of couriers in transporting money supplied by a notorious terrorist, from the United States to Cuba, for the activities of the lackeys who, working for Washington, are attempting to assault Cuba’s internal order and national security. Expert procedures demonstrating the undeniable authenticity of signatures on receipts, exhibited as proof that they were paid with money sent from Miami, shattered the fallacious rhetoric of the beneficiaries of the funds provided by the Fundación Rescate Jurídico, an organization registered with the state of Florida and headed by Santiago Alvarez Fernández-Magriñá. These individuals have repeatedly denied that they have sources of financing in the United States. The signatures of Laura Inés Pollán Toledo, Vladimiro Roca Antúnez, Félix Antonio Bonne Carcassés and José Luis García Pérez (Antúnez) are all genuine ones. It was fittingly noted that the U.S. government has expressly allocated $47 million this year for destroying the Cuban Revolution. BOB IN THE SERVICE OF AUNT MACPATO An analysis of correspondence between Marta Beatriz Roque Cabello and her Miami interlocutors, Carmen Machado, Juan Carlos Fuentes and María de los Angeles Falcón, made it possible to see the presence of a repugnant connection with Robert Blau, a U.S. Interests Section official. Back in September 2006, Roque Cabello was already saying that trustworthy individuals could be useful for bringing in money: "They come and go with no problem… You will realize who they are." There was no subterfuge in the beginning: the ringleader referred to Blau by the nickname he uses: Bob. And Bob "told me he had no problem" brining money from Posada Carriles’ benefactor. Further on, she reiterates that confidence: "This is their channel, and they will know [how to do it] securely." Realizing that it was risky to mention Bob by his name, Roque Cabello — who dubbed herself Aunt MacPato — scolded her nephew and urged him to use code words to refer to officials carrying out the task: those viewing the "Roundtable" saw footage of him visiting Roque Cabello to deliver her monthly payment. It is very likely, as Granma newspaper editor-in-chief Lazaro Barredo explained, that these services have helped in Bob’s recent rise to the second in command in the U.S. State Department’s Cuba Desk. PARMLY, THREE-TIME COURIER, FOURTH INCOMPLETE "You know that these things can be arranged among friends… this house is always open to you all," Michael Parmly told Roque Cabello, who had complained that she had no money to maintain her cell phone account. More than friends, the relationship between the two is one of complete complicity in conspiracy, something extremely serious when talking about the connection between the chief of the U.S. Interests Section in Havana and a very active lackey. Addressing this marriage, journalist Reinaldo Taladrid, an analyst with the Cuban TV news network, said it was scandalously unusual for a diplomat — a government official who is supposed to observe strict norms of procedure and compliance with Cuban and U.S. law and the principles of international law — to agree to be a courier, not oncee but three times — and almost four — between 2007 and 2008, bringing money from an individual like Alvarez Fernández-Magriñá, who was arrested and tried in U.S. courts on various criminal charges. Roque Cabello christened him in her messages as "a very important person," "the mailman," "the cradle," "the hand that rocks the cradle." She had her nephew, Juan Carlos, contact Parmly’s daughter in Washington. Parmly made himself available for the operations with pleasure, gave details of his comings and goings to Miami — confirmed by e-mail and Cuban immigration records — and rushed (this was shown on video) to soothe Roque Cabello, who received money sent by the terrorist three times. The fourth time, she was the loser: at the same time these "Roundtable" exposés were being broadcast, Parmly in Miami was about to receive another remittance to bring to her, but the action was thwarted by the revelations. Another sordid aspect of this connection was revealed through a loan from Parmly requested by Roque Cabello, along with Vladimiro Roca and a U.S. diplomatic official, James Benson, for covering expenses for one of the many get-togethers improvised by these cliques to justify their "good works" to their masters. Given that the money from Alvarez Fernández-Magriñá had not yet arrived, Roque Cabello proposed to Parmly that he advance her a loan, which could be refunded by the terrorist as soon as Parmly traveled to Miami again. In any case, as Taladrid commented, the shameful element is not the debt created between the chief of a diplomatic mission and a mafioso, but the conduct of Parmly, so irresponsible, so criminal; in short, abominable. U.S. VIOLATATIONS OF INTERNATIONAL LAW In order to describe the violations of diplomatic norms committed by the U.S. government, the "Roundtable" broadcast an interview by Arleen Rodríguez with Josefina Vidal Ferreiro, director of the North America department of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs. "For many years now," the ministry official explained, "Cuban authorities have been exposing the subversive activities taking place within the U.S. Interests Section. Innumerable formal protests have been sent to the Department of State about these actions, always led by the institution’s chief of mission." Vidal Ferreiro cited two illustrative examples. On one occasion three diplomatic bags, sealed by the U.S. State Department, arrived at the USIS, sent by none other than Frank Calzón of the Center for a Free Cuba, sinister character who, between 1998 and 2005 alone, received approximately eight million dollars to subvert the internal order of the Cuban nation. On another occasion, 21 packages containing office materials, still and video cameras, other equipment, texts, medical supplies were declared as diplomatic baggage… all destined for the counterrevolutionary cliques. The sender was Frank Hernández Trujillo, of the Support to Democracy group, who had previously collected a sum similar to that mentioned above to help the anti-patriots, was the man who dispatched that aid. These practices, Josefina Vidal pointed, are in violation of the stipulations laid down in the Vienna Conventions for diplomatic and consular relations, which state that diplomatic bags should contain only documents for the mission’s official use and cannot be used in the service of hostile acts against the host nation. She recalled that the opening of the Interests Section offices in Havana and Washington in 1977, during the James Carter administration, was conceived as a way to promote better relations between the two countries, to facilitate cultural, scientific and sports exchange, as well as immigration procedures. Despite the aggressive and provocative U.S. attitude, Cuba has wasted patience and good will in trying to accommodate the U.S. authorities, so as to avoid providing any pretext for the closure of the Interests Section, according to Vidal Ferreiro. PARMLY ALSO A BENEFACTOR Lázaro Barredo demonstrated that the conduct of Michael Parmly, chief of mission at the U.S. Interests Section in Havana, provides a close-up of the criminal conspiracy. As aggravating evidence is the text of a message sent to the federal judge in charge of the trial of Santiago Alvarez on charges of illegal possession of weapons, falsified documents and obstructing justice – conceived and delivered with Parmly’s full knowledge. The purpose of Marta Beatriz’ intervention was to offer as evidence, to Judge James Cohn, the "humanitarian" work being undertaken by Alvarez, his funding of these cliques in Cuba. The document was sent in the name of several mercenaries. This document was lost in the USIS offices by Roque Cabello, who immediately informed the chief U.S. diplomat of that fact. This proves Parmly’s full and clear knowledge of the relationship between and efforts by the criminal Santiago Alvarez and the mercenaries to influence a federal judge, in order to get Alvarez’ sentence reduced. In conclusion, Barredo indicated that such actions, and the less severe sentence received by Alvarez represent an incitement to terrorism, since surely Alvarez will return to his criminal activities against the Cuban people as soon as he hits the streets and is reunited with his anti-Cuban mafia. IN MIAMI THE PARTY NEVER ENDS Reinaldo Taladrid, Cuban Television News journalist, outlined the continuous activities that take place in Miami, led by these groups, encouraging aggression against Cuba. He mentioned the "patriotic" dinner organized in a luxurious hall this past May 2, to honor Luis Faustino Clemente Posada Carriles, who, evidently emboldened by those present, said: "Have faith in God and sharpen your machetes to hasten the end of the regime." The anti-Cuban evening crowd responded with enthusiastic applause. Taladrid suggested paying close attention on January 20, 2009, given that presidential pardons may take place, as has become customary for outgoing U.S. presidents. In step with the partygoers in Miami, the counterrevolutionary ringleader Marta Beatriz Roque Cabello has declared herself a defender of Posada Carriles, and has had the audacity to say that the Cuban people despise the five Cuban anti-terrorists imprisoned in the U.S. As for the speech presented May 21 by President Bush, Dr. Manuel Hevia, from the State Security Historical Investigations Center, reported that the U.S. president, in ridiculous Spanish, attacked Cuba and announced that cellular phones would be sent to the country and, in accordance with his usual incoherence, expressed his hope that one day Cubans will freely stroll along the Malecón. BUSH, TOP GODFATHER Hevia referred to certain documents that prove direct ties between the U.S. president and members of these cliques. He explained that during one of a number of encounters between Bush and these individuals, Bush agreed to Ros-Lehtinen’s request that he decorate Oscar Elías Biscet, an individual now in prison after being convicted of counterrevolutionary actions. On January 24, 2008, Elsa Morejón, Biscet’s wife, received the Freedom Medal from Bush in person. Hevia emphasized that the imperialist leader gives systematic attention to the Cuba issue. Just two weeks ago, during another phone conference organized by the USIS, W. Bush reaffirmed that his current policies are in line with the basic elements of the Plan bearing his name, aimed at the restoration of capitalism in Cuba; in the meantime, other high-ranking U.S. government officials, such as Condoleezza Rice and Carlos Gutiérrez, have used similar language. The dirty policy of growing hostility is related to the secret appendix to Chapter One of the Bush Plan, Hevia affirmed. For his part, Reinaldo Taladrid noted the evasive statements made by State Department spokesman Sean McCormack in response to U.S. reporters’ questions regarding financing from U.S. organizations and the U.S. government for Cuban counterrevolutionaries, and to demands that he clarify the role of the USIS chief in those proceedings between Alvarez Fernández-Magriñá and Roque Cabello. Taladrid noted that McCormack limited himself to repeating over and over, somewhat uncomfortably, that he didn’t know anything about the funding mechanisms for those groups, but that U.S. authorities were involved in humanitarian work, prudent and consistent with aid program policies. Finally, in order to back up the work of the USIS chief, he asserted that U.S. diplomatic activities are not violating any international laws. The final minutes of the "Roundtable" program were dedicated to footage of members of those cliques who, on May 21, went to the residence of USIS officials, located on Calle 24 between Avenidas 5 and 7 in Miramar, to listen to Bush’s speech. Those who decided to make a statement to Cuban TV admitted, completely shamelessly, that they supported the anti-Cuban aggression on the part of the White House resident. The impertinence of Marta Beatriz herself was also evident. Roque Cabello’s pro-annexation attitude was exposed on the program, evidenced by her completely servile statement that she couldn’t care less if the Yankees invaded Cuba. One example of the services that these traitors are providing to the empire to create a provocation in order to destabilize the country as a pretext for escalated aggression was provided by an excerpt from a telephone conservation between Roque Cabello and Elizardo Sánchez Santa Cruz Pacheco ("The Chameleon"): "We’re going to spread the story around the entire country that the Americans are going to place ships in different ports around the country for people to leave. Any initiative that make the situation even hotter. The exile [community] can help, international agencies can help us." That is the shamelessness of these lackeys, who are endangering the national security of the Cuban people. US Diplomats in Cuba Violate International Laws May 22, 2008 HAVANA, Cuba, May 22 (acn) New information about the links between US diplomats based in Havana, Cuban mercenaries and terrorists resident in the United States was disclosed on Wednesday during the prime time TV program The Round Table. For the third consecutive day, evidence was presented by panelists about the links between the mercenaries in Cuba and US diplomats with the Interests Section in Havana who act as mere ‘couriers’ bringing money remittances from Cuban-born terrorist Santiago Alvarez Fernandez-Magriña - currently jailed in the United States on weapons charges which he intended to use in violent actions against Cuba. Phone calls and e-mails between these mercenaries and the US officials were also presented as irrefutable evidence of the US interference in Cuba’s domestic affairs and Washington’s links with international self-confessed terrorists. Among the US diplomats who serve as couriers for the counter-revolutionary elements in Cuba are Robert (Bob) Blau, who was recently promoted to the post of deputy Director of the Cuba Bureau at the US State Department, and Michael Parmly, the head of the US Interest Section in Havana.
She recalled that on July 18, 2005, they presented a verbal note of protest three days after three diplomatic bags arrived in Havana with the stamp of the US State Department although they had actually been sent by the so-called Center for a Free Cuba, led by terrorist Frank Calzon. Vidal Ferreiro recalled that, since 1998, that organization has received more then eight million dollars to subvert the internal order in Cuba. "This and other notes to the US Administration have not been answered," she stressed. The Cuban official added that although the US Government tries to defend its actions saying that they are legal, it is violating the Vienna Convention, the Cuban law and the US-Cuba bilateral accords governing the role of the US Interest Section in Havana.

Todo quedó fehacientemente demostrado ayer durante la tercera parte de la Mesa Redonda La escandalosa conexión terroristas-mercenarios-gobierno de Estados Unidos, transmitida por la radio y la televisión y conducida por el periodista Randy Alonso: el Jefe y un funcionario de la Sección de Intereses de EE.UU., en La Habana, hicieron el papel de "mulas" en el transporte de dinero desde territorio norteamericano hacia Cuba, suministrado por un connotado terrorista, para abastecer la actividad de cipayos que al servicio de Washington pretenden violentar el orden interno y la seguridad nacional. Diligencias periciales que demuestran inequívocamente la autenticidad de las firmas al pie de los recibos exhibidos como pruebas del cobro de los dineros enviados de Miami, hicieron trizas la falaz retórica de los receptores de la plata aportada por la Fundación Rescate Jurídico, inscrita en el estado de la Florida y presidida por Santiago Álvarez Fernández-Magriñá, quienes en varias ocasiones han negado sus fuentes de financiamiento en Estados Unidos. Las rúbricas de Laura Inés Pollán Toledo, Vladimiro Roca Antúnez, Félix Antonio Bonne Carcassés y José Luis García Pérez (Antúnez) pertenecen a sus titulares. Cupo recordar cómo el gobierno de EE.UU, de manera expresa, ha presupuestado este año 47 millones de dólares para destruir a la Revolución cubana. BOB AL SERVICIO DE LA TÍA MACPATO Un análisis de la correspondencia sostenida entre Marta Beatriz Roque Cabello y sus interlocutores miamenses Carmen Machado, Juan Carlos Fuentes y María de los Ángeles Falcón, permitió visualizar en la escena de la repugnante conexión a Robert Blau, funcionario de la Sección de Intereses de EE.UU. Ya desde septiembre del 2006, la Roque Cabello avisa que gente de confianza pueden servir de correo para el dinero: "Van y vienen sin ningún problema ... Te darás cuenta de quiénes son". En ese primer momento no hubo subterfugios: la cabecilla citó a Blau por el diminutivo por el que es conocido: Bob. Y Bob "me dijo que no tenía ninguna dificultad" para traer el dinero del benefactor de Posada Carrilles. Más adelante reiteraría esa confianza: "Esta es la vía de ellos y lo sabrán seguramente". Al darse cuenta de que era comprometedor llamar a Bob por su nombre, la autotitulada Tía Mac Pato regañó a su sobrino y lo instó a utilizar alusiones en clave para referirse a un funcionario que cumplió con la encomienda: los televidentes pudieron verlo visitar a la Roque Cabello para entregarle la mesada. Es muy probable, como explicó Lázaro Barredo, director de Granma, que este servicio haya influido en el reciente ascenso de Bob al puesto de segundo jefe del Buró Cuba del Departamento de Estado. PARMLY, TRES VECES MULA Y UNA CUARTA INCONCLUSA "Tú sabes que entre amigos se pueden arreglar estas cosas...esta casa siempre está abierta a ustedes", dijo Michael Parmly a la Roque Cabello, quejosa de que no tenía fondos para alimentar la cuenta de su teléfono celular. Más que amigos, la relación entre ambos, es de absoluta complicidad conspirativa, algo sumamente grave cuando se trata del vínculo entre el Jefe de la Sección de Intereses de EE.UU. en La Habana, y la muy dinámica cipaya (búsquese la segunda acepción de este vocablo en el Diccionario de la Real Academia Española: secuaz a sueldo). Al abordar ese maridaje, Reinaldo Taladrid, analista del Sistema Informativo de la TV Cubana, calificó como escandalosamente insólito el hecho de que un diplomático, en tanto funcionario gubernamental que se debe a estrictas normas de procedimiento y al cumplimiento de las leyes de Cuba y EE.UU. y a los principios del Derecho Internacional Público, acceda no una sino tres veces —y casi una cuarta— a servir de correo (mula) entre el 2007 y el 2008 para trasladar dinero procedente de un sujeto como Álvarez Fernández-Magriñá, arrestado y puesto a disposición de la justicia norteamericana bajo varios cargos criminales. La Roque Cabello lo bautizó en sus mensajes como "una persona muy importante", "el cartero", "la cunita", "la mano que mece la cuna". Hizo que su sobrino Juan Carlos contactara con la hija de Parmly en Washington. El propio Parmly se ofreció gustoso para las operaciones, detalló las coordenadas de sus idas y vueltas por Miami —corroboradas por mensajes electrónicos y registros de nuestras autoridades migratorias—, y acudió veloz —lo prueban videos— a satisfacer la ansiedad de la Roque Cabello, quien recibió en tres ocasiones las partidas remitidas por el terrorista. A la cuarta fue esta vez la vencida: coincidiendo con la transmisión de estas Mesas Redondas, Parmly en Miami se hallaba presto a recibir para su trasiego una nueva remesa, acción frustrada ante la denuncia. Otro aspecto sórdido de ese vínculo quedó revelado a partir del préstamo solicitado a Parmly por la Roque Cabello, en compañía de Vladimiro Roca y el funcionario diplomático norteamericano James Benson, para cubrir los gastos de uno de los tantos convites inventados por los grupúsculos para justificar sus "buenas acciones" ante sus amos. Como quiera que no había llegado la plata presupuestada por Álvarez Fernández-Magriñá, la Roque Cabello propuso a Parmly que adelantara un dinero que no perdería, puesto que el terrorista se lo repondría apenas viajara nuevamente a Miami. En todo caso, como comentó Taladrid, lo vergonzoso no es la deuda contraída por el jefe de una misión diplomática con un mafioso, sino la conducta de Parmly, cuando menos irresponsable, cuando más delincuencial, a fin de cuentas abominable. EE.UU. VIOLA CONVENCIONES INTERNACIONALES Para enumerar las violaciones que comete el gobierno de los Estados Unidos en materia de relaciones diplomáticas, la Mesa Redonda Informativa transmitió una entrevista de la colega Arleen Rodríguez a Josefina Vidal Ferreiro, directora del Departamento de América del Norte del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de Cuba. Desde hace muchos años —explica la funcionaria— nuestras autoridades han denunciado la labor subversiva que tiene lugar en la SINA. A esa Oficina y al Departamento de Estado se les ha enviado un sinnúmero de notas de protesta por tal proceder, siempre encabezado por el jefe de la institución. La entrevistada citó dos ejemplos elocuentes: en una ocasión llegaron a la SINA tres valijas diplomáticas, con el sello de seguridad del Departamento de Estado, cuyo remitente era nada más y nada menos que Frank Calzón, del Centro para una Cuba Libre, siniestro personaje que solo entre los años 1998 y 2005 recibió unos ocho millones de dólares con la finalidad de subvertir el orden interno de nuestra nación. En otra oportunidad fueron 21 paquetes los declarados como carga diplomática con material de oficina, cámaras fotográficas y de video, otros equipos, textos, suministros médicos... , destinados a los grupúsculos contrarrevolucionarios. Frank Hernández Trujillo, del Grupo de Apoyo a la Democracia, y quien también ha atesorado una cifra similar a la mencionada anteriormente para ayudar a los apátridas, hizo de remitente del envío. Estas prácticas, apuntó Josefina Vidal, son violatorias de los postulados recogidos en las Convenciones de Viena para las Relaciones Diplomáticas y Consulares, en los cuales se plantea que las valijas diplomáticas deben contener documentación propia para uso oficial de la Misión, y que esta no puede prestarse para actos de hostilidad contra el país en cuestión. Recordó que la apertura de las oficinas de Intereses en La Habana y Washington, ocurrida en 1977, durante el gobierno de Jimmy Carter, se concibió para promover buenas relaciones entre los dos países, facilitar el intercambio cultural, científico, deportivo, así como para la realización de trámites migratorios. A pesar de la constante actitud agresiva y provocadora, Cuba ha derrochado paciencia y buen tino para no complacer a las autoridades estadounidenses en la búsqueda de un pretexto que lleve al cierre de la SINA, abundó la funcionaria. PARMLY TAMBIÉN BENEFACTOR Lázaro Barredo expuso que el jefe de la Oficina de Intereses de Estados Unidos en La Habana, Michael Parmly, presenta un cuadro lo más cercano al delito de conspiración, pues como prueba agravante existe un texto enviado al juez federal que sigue la causa contra Santiago Álvarez Fernández-Magriñá, sometido a dos procesos, acusado por tenencia ilícita de armas, documentación falsa y obstrucción de la justicia y que fue de su pleno conocimiento. El propósito de la mediación solicitada a Marta Beatriz era ofrecer como prueba al juez Jamen Cohn la labor "humanitaria" de Fernández-Magriñá con su financiamiento a estos grupos, cuyo documento fue enviado a nombre de varios mercenarios. Ese documento se le extravió a Roque Cabello en las propias oficinas de la SINA, quien inmediatamente dio cuenta al jefe diplomático estadounidense. Esta prueba evidencia el claro y absoluto conocimiento de Parmly sobre el vínculo y la gestión del criminal Santiago Álvarez y los mercenarios para influir sobre el juez federal y así lograr que las penas las llevaran a la mínima expresión. Para concluir, Barredo señaló que tales gestiones y la rebaja de la condena representan un aliento a la actividad terrorista, pues seguramente Santiago Álvarez volverá a la ejecución de nuevos crímenes contra nuestro pueblo en cuanto salga a la calle y se una con la mafia anticubana. EN MIAMI EL FESTÍN NO TERMINA Reinaldo Taladrid, periodista del Sistema Informativo de la Televisión Cubana, esbozó las continuas actividades que tienen lugar en Miami, con estos grupos como protagonistas, para estimular las agresiones contra Cuba. Mencionó la cena "patriótica" organizada el pasado viernes 2 de mayo, en un lujoso salón de esa ciudad para homenajear a Luis Faustino Clemente Posada Carriles, quien a todas luces envalentonado dijo a los presentes: "Tengan fe en Dios, y les pido que afilen sus machetes para acelerar el fin del régimen". Entonces recibió un cerrado aplauso de la gusanera trasnochada. Taladrid sugirió estar atentos a la fecha del 20 de enero del 2009, pues pueden ocurrir indultos presidenciales, como nos tienen acostumbrados los gobernantes estadounidenses. Para estar en correspondencia con el festín de Miami, la cabecilla contrarrevolucionaria Marta Beatriz Roque Cabello se ha declarado defensora de Posada Carriles, y además ha tenido la desfachatez de decir que el pueblo cubano desprecia a los Cinco Héroes antiterroristas prisioneros políticos del imperio. Acerca del discurso pronunciado ayer por el presidente W. Bush, el doctor Manuel Hevia, director del Centro de Investigaciones Históricas de la Seguridad del Estado, informó que el jefe de la Casa Blanca en ridículo español arremetió contra nuestro país, anunciando que enviaría a Cuba teléfonos celulares y para ser consecuente con la incoherencia que lo caracteriza, expresó su deseo de que los cubanos algún día futuro se paseen libremente por el malecón. BUSH, EL PADRINO MAYOR El investigador hizo referencia a algunos materiales impresos que prueban los nexos directos del presidente de los Estados Unidos con integrantes de los grupúsculos. Explicó cómo en uno de los reiterados encuentros, Bush asumió el pedido de la loba feroz Ros-Lethinen de condecorar a Oscar Elías Biscet, sujeto que guarda prisión por comprobadas acciones contrarrevolucionarias. El 24 de enero del 2008, Elsa Morejón, esposa de Biscet, recibió de manos de Bush la medalla presidencial Por la Libertad. Subrayó el investigador que la atención del jefe del imperio al tema cubano es sistemática. Hace apenas dos semanas en otra teleconferencia organizada por la SINA, W. Bush reafirmó que su política actual se corresponde con los fundamentos del Plan que lleva su nombre y tiene el propósito de hacer regresar a Cuba al capitalismo, mientras que en iguales términos se han pronunciado otros altos dirigentes del gobierno nor-teamericano, como la Condoleezza Rice y Carlos Gutiérrez. Hevia dijo que a su juicio la política sucia de hostilidad creciente tiene relación con el anexo secreto del capítulo uno del citado Plan. Reinaldo Taladrid, por su parte, relató las evasivas declaraciones del vocero del Departamento de Estado de los Estados Unidos, Sean McCormak, ante interrogantes de la prensa de ese país en relación con el sustento financiero de grupos y del gobierno norteamericano a los contrarrevolucionarios cubanos y los reclamos de que esclareciera el papel del Jefe de la SINA en esos trámites entre Álvarez Fernández- Magriñá y Roque Cabello. El funcionario se limitó a repetir una y otra vez con cierta incomodidad que desconocía los mecanismos de aporte de esos grupos, pero que las autoridades estadounidenses sí desarrollaban gestos humanitarios, prudentes y consistentes con la política contenida en programas de ayuda. Finalmente para apoyar la labor del Jefe de la SINA afirmó que Estados Unidos no viola leyes internacionales en su proceder diplomático. En los minutos finales del espacio radiotelevisivo se mostraron imágenes de apátridas que acudieron ayer a la residencia de funcionarios de la SINA, sita en Calle 24 e/ 5ta. y 7ma., Miramar, para escuchar el discurso de Bush. Los que se decidieron a hacer declaraciones a la Televisión Cubana reconocieron con total desfachatez su apoyo a la agresión que contra Cuba impulsa el inquilino de la Casa Blanca. También se apreció la impertinencia de la propia Marta Beatriz. El cierre de la mesa, mostró la faceta proanexionista de Roque Cabello en la declaración donde afirmaba con total cipayismo que le daba lo mismo que los yankis invadieran a Cuba, y como expresión del servicio que estos vendepatrias ofrecen al imperio para gestar una provocación de desestabilización del país que sirva de pretexto a una escalada agresiva, se ofrecía un fragmento de una conversación telefónica sostenida entre ella y Elizardo Sánchez Santa Cruz Pacheco (El Camaján): "Vamos a regar por todo el país la bola de que los americanos van a poner barcos en distintos puertos del país para que la población se pueda ir. Todas las iniciativas que pongan más caliente la situación todavía. El exilio puede apoyar, nos pueden apoyar los organismos internacionales". Tal es la desvergüenza de estos cipayos que ponen en peligro la seguridad nacional del pueblo cubano. |
