BY releasing international terrorist Luis Posada Carriles without preventing him from meeting with the Miami terrorist capos who financed his crimes and the thugs who always accompanied him, the George W. Bush administration has allowed the coordination of a dangerous group of criminal elements who consider themselves authorized to act with impunity.

In an emotive account of Posada’s homecoming after a trip in a private jet from Texas – a privilege granted at the direction of the highest spheres of the Justice Department – El Nuevo Herald comments how "peacefully and at a remove from the barrage of the press… the anti-Castro activist" is already comfortably installed in his residence.

The daily quotes the "veteran activist Ernestino Abreu," who "plans to visit Posada in the next few days."

In its scandalous indulgence of terrorism, the daily refrains from mentioning that Ernestino Abreu, a notorious terrorist, is the father of Ernesto Abreu, the phony owner of the shrimper Santrina that transported Posada to the United States in 2004.

Ernesto Abreu is such a faithful accomplice in Posada’s terrorist conspiracies that he visited him on a number of occasions when the latter was in prison in Panama for an assassination attempt on the president of Cuba, subsequently represented Santiago Alvarez in all the legal procedures and accompanied the old killer in his furtive release from there aboard a private jet for Honduras, where he helped him to go to ground.

Ernesto Abreu, president of the Cuban patriotic Junta, linked to the Alpha 66 terrorist group, refused to testify before a Grand Jury investigating Posada’s illegal entry into the United States and was imprisoned for contempt.

MAFIA JUBILATION

Under the headline "Jubilation in exile," the Diario de las Américas, one of the papers most closely linked to the Miami mafiosi, attempts to illustrate the theme by quoting from an interview given to the Spanish EFE news agency by Armando Pérez Roura, "general director of the Cuban Unity organization, an umbrella organization for some 20 exile groups."

The newspaper and the agency do not mention that Pérez-Roura has for years been one of the most furious preachers of the use of terrorism against Cuba and that the organizations grouped together under the banner of Cuban Unity are all aligned in favor of terrorism.

Pérez Roura told EFE that the release of the most dangerous terrorist on the continent is a victory for "the Cuban exile movement and for the justice that we have asked should be done with a patriot like him."

Cuban Unity belongs to the Cuban Patriotic Forum (FPC) that has constantly called for support of the terrorist. Moreover, the FPC brings together the Council for Cuban Freedom headed by Luis Zúñiga and Roberto Martín Pérez; Brigade 2506 of Félix Rodríguez Mendigutía; the Cuban Political Prisoners Council of Reinaldo Aquit; and Orlando Bosch’s People’s Protagonist Party.

All of these groups and mini-groups without exception are strongly connected to anti-Cuban terrorism.

Many of the individuals belonging to them have known links with the White House, as is the case with Zúñiga, or with Caleb McCarry’s Bush Plan campaigns in Europe, in which Aquit is taking part.

The Dario de las Amerícas then moved on to Osier Gonzalez, Alpha 66 spokesman, who similarly affirms his satisfaction at "our comrade being back with us in Miami."

It fails to mention that Alpha 66, created by the CIA in 1962, is the terrorist organization with the largest record of attacks of all the hard-line groups in Miami, where it has an office, like its rival Commandos F-4, headed by Rodolfo Frómeta.

In an absurd way, on passing extremely heavy sentences on the Cuban five who managed to penetrate Miami terrorist groups, Judge Joan Lenard imposed additional special conditions on them for their supervised release when they have served them. She expressly prevented them from visiting places in Miami frequented by terrorists, an implicit reference the existence in Miami of a terrorism that is tolerated.

Imperial justice omitted to impose such requirements on Posada.

By not being recognized as a terrorist by the Bush administration, Posada is not risking much in his upcoming trial for having lied to the immigration services, a sentence that he has already served.

By not giving any warning in relation to the acts of terrorism that he has always plotted, Judge Kathleen Cardone did not even know that present in her own courthouse were representatives of the Bay of Pigs Veterans Association (Brigade 2506) headed up by killer and CIA agent Félix Ismael Rodríguez Mendigutía; of Independent and Democratic Cuba, led by drug trafficker Huber Matos; and the so-called Cuban Political Prisoners Council of notorious terrorist Reinaldo Aquit.

Under Washington’s directions the judge de facto authorized Posada to conspire, without restrictions, with all of those Miami elements that constituted and still constitute the base of his murderous activities: Orlando Bosch, Pedro Remon, "Gasparito" Jiménez, Guillermo Novo and even Virgilio Paz and José Dionisio Suárez.

In addition to them is the whole millionaire troop of terror sponsors of the Cuban-American National Foundation and the Cuban Liberty Council, whose constant support of anti-Cuba terrorism has always been as strong as their backing of ultra-right congress members that they fund and direct.

AL liberar al terrorista internacional Luis Posada Carriles sin prohibirle reunirse con los cabecillas terroristas de Miami que financiaron sus crímenes y los matones que siempre lo acompañaron en sus fechorías, la Administración de George W. Bush ha consentido una peligrosa concertación de elementos criminales que se consideran autorizados a conspirar con impunidad.

En un emotivo recuento de la llegada de Posada a su domicilio, después de un viaje en jet privado desde Texas —un privilegio otorgado por orientación de las más altas esferas del Departamento de Justicia— El Nuevo Herald menciona cómo, “apacible y alejado del asedio de la prensa”, el “militante anticastrista” ya se encuentra cómodamente instalado en su domicilio.

El diario cita al “veterano activista Ernestino Abreu” para luego precisar que “planea visitar a Posada en los próximos días”.

En su escandalosa complacencia hacía el terror, el rotativo no menciona que Ernestino Abreu, terrorista notorio, es el padre de Ernesto Abreu, dueño postizo del barco camaronero Santrina, con el cual Posada fue introducido a Estados Unidos en el 2004.

Ernesto Abreu es tan fiel cómplice de los planes terroristas de Posada que lo visitó en varias oportunidades cuando se encontraba preso en Panamá por intentar asesinar al Presidente de Cuba, representó entonces a Santiago Álvarez en todos los procedimientos judiciales y acompañó al viejo asesino en su salida furtiva, en jet privado, rumbo a Honduras donde ayudó en su desaparición.

Ernesto Abreu, quien es presidente de la Junta Patriótica Cubana, asociada al grupo terrorista Alpha 66, se negó a declarar ante un Gran Jurado que investigó la entrada ilegal de Posada en EE.UU. y fue encarcelado luego por este motivo.

JUBILO EN LA FAUNA

Bajo el titulo “Júbilo en el exilio”, el Diario de las Américas, uno de los órganos de prensa más estrechamente vinculado a la fauna mafiosa miamense, intenta ilustrar el tema al citar una entrevista concedida a la agencia española EFE por Armando Pérez Roura, “director general de la organización Unidad Cubana, que agrupa a una veintena de grupos de exiliados”.

El periódico y la agencia evitan mencionar que Pérez-Roura es, desde hace décadas, uno de los más furibundos predicadores del uso del terror contra Cuba y que las organizaciones que agrupa bajo la bandera de la llamada Unidad Cubana, están todas alineadas a favor del terrorismo.

En sus declaraciones a EFE, Pérez Roura expresó que la liberación del terrorista más peligroso del continente es un triunfo del “exilio cubano y de la justicia que hemos pedido que se haga con un patriota como él”.

Unidad Cubana pertenece al Foro Patriótico Cubano (FPC) que constantemente llamó a apoyar al terrorista. El FPC reúne además al Consejo por la Libertad de Cuba, de Luis Zúñiga y Roberto Martín Pérez, la Brigada 2506, de Félix Rodríguez Mendigutía, el Consejo del Presidio Político Cubano, de Reinaldo Aquit, y el Partido Protagonista del Pueblo, de Orlando Bosch.

Todos estos grupos y grupúsculos, sin excepción, tienen vínculos profundos con el terrorismo contra Cuba.

Muchos de los personajes que los componen tienen lazos conocidos con la Casa Blanca, como es el caso de Zúñiga, o con las campañas del Plan Bush en Europa, de Caleb McCarry, en las cuales participa Aquit.

El Diario de las Américas da luego la palabra a Osiel González, vocero de Alpha 66, quien afirma también su satisfacción “de que nuestro compañero se encuentre de nuevo con nosotros en Miami”.

No menciona que Alpha 66, creado por la CIA en 1962, constituye la organización terrorista con el más amplio historial de atentados entre todos los grupúsculos llamados de “línea dura” de Miami, donde disfruta de una oficina, al igual que su rival, Comandos F-4, de Rodolfo Frómeta.

De manera absurda, al condenar con durísimas sentencias, en diciembre del 2001, a tres de Los Cinco cubanos que lograron penetrar a grupos terroristas de Miami, la jueza Joan Lenard les impuso condiciones especiales adicionales "para su liberación supervisada el día que hayan cumplido su condena". Se les prohibió expresadamente que visitaran en Miami los lugares que frecuentan terroristas, un reconocimiento implícito de la existencia en Miami de un terrorismo tolerado.

Para Posada, la justicia imperial omitió imponer a tales requerimientos.

Al no ser reconocido por la Administración Bush como terrorista, Posada no arriesga mucho más en su venidero juicio por haber engañado a los servicios de inmigración, que una sentencia de detención que ya cumplió.

Al no imponer la más mínima advertencia en relación con las actividades terroristas que siempre desarrolló, la jueza Kathleen Cardone ni siquiera supo que en su propia corte se encontraban frente a ella representantes de la Asociación de Veteranos de Bahía de Cochinos (Brigada 2506) del asesino y agente CIA Félix Ismael Rodríguez Mendigutía; de Cuba Independiente y Democrática, del narcotraficante Huber Matos; y del llamado Consejo del Presidio Político Cubano, del connotado terrorista Reinaldo Aquit.

Orientada por Washington, la magistrada autorizó de facto a Posada a conspirar, sin restricción, con todos los que en Miami constituyeron y siguen constituyendo la base de sus actividades asesinas: los Orlando Bosch, Pedro Remon, “Gasparito” Jiménez, Guillermo Novo hasta los Virgilio Paz y José Dionisio Suárez.

Además de toda la tropa millonaria de patrocinadores del terror de la Fundacion Nacional Cubano Americana y del Cuban Liberty Council, cuyo apoyo permanente al terrorismo contra Cuba se reveló siempre tan firme como su sostén a los congresistas derechistas que financian y que orientan.
