Havana, April 10 (acn) the Website http://foro.jovenclub.cu will host a forum next Friday, April 11, to again let the world know about the truth of the five Cuban antiterrorist fighters, known as the Cuban Five, held in US jails since 1998.

Close relatives of Fernando Gonzalez, Gerardo Hernandez, Antonio Guerrero, Ramon Labañino and Rene Gonzalez will be at hand during the forum, scheduled to start at 10:00 am. They will answer questions raised by all those who want to know details about the unfair judicial process of which the Cuban Five are still the victims.

The Cuban Five were unfairly judged and condemned to extremely long sentences, including to two life terms, for having collected information to frustrate terrorist actions against the Cuban people by Florida-based ultra-right organizations, which have operated from US territory against Cuba over the past 45 years.

Those who join the forum will be able to learn about the current situation of the Five and the harm inflicted on their relatives; they will also learn details of this case which has been deliberately silenced by the so-called mainstream media since September 12, 1998, when the Cuban men were framed and arrested by FBI agents in the US city of Miami.

The forum is part of actions by the Cuban Young Communist League and student organizations in their efforts to intensify the solidarity campaign with the Cuban Five, precisely when nearly 10 years have come by since the unfair incarceration of the antiterrorist fighters.

La Habana, 10 abr (AIN) El sitio digital http://foro.jovenclub.cu abrirá este viernes sus puertas a un interesante debate, en otro esfuerzo para enterar al mundo de la verdad de los Cinco cubanos presos desde 1998 en Estados Unidos por combatir el terrorismo.

Familiares de Fernando González, Gerardo Hernández, Antonio Guerrero, Ramón Labañino y René González estarán ese día en línea a partir de las 10 de la mañana, para responder las preguntas y comentarios de quienes deseen conocer más del injusto proceso judicial del cual siguen siendo víctimas los Cinco y apoyar su causa.

Madres, esposas, hijos y otros seres queridos intervendrán en este foro interactivo para hablar de esos hombres, detenidos, juzgados y condenados, incluso hasta a dos cadenas perpetuas, por tratar de prevenir y frustrar las acciones de grupos terroristas que operan contra Cuba desde territorio norteamericano.

Del terrible daño ocasionado a los propios familiares y la situación actual del proceso podrán también conocer los internautas atraídos a ese sitio digital en busca de más información sobre un caso que la llamada gran prensa ha silenciado deliberadamente desde el mismo 12 de septiembre de 1998, día del arresto en Miami.

Desde el Palacio Central de Computación será librado este nuevo combate por la verdad y la justicia, primera entre muchas acciones con que la Unión de Jóvenes Comunistas y las organizaciones estudiantiles se proponen intensificar la campaña de solidaridad con los Cinco, próximos a cumplirse 10 años de injusto y bárbaro encierro.
