Internet Forum by Cuban Students about the Cuban Five
Mar. 31, 2008 The Interactive Forum is scheduled for April 2 and all university students in the country and abroad have been called to participate by the Universities Network in Solidarity with The Five, reported the Juventud Rebelde newspaper. The initiative marked the 46th anniversary of creation of the Communist Youth League and it gives continuity to the panel in favor of the Five that was held on February 13 as part of the 2008 University Congress. The main purpose of the forum will be to discuss what Cuban university students and those in the rest of the world could do to help the release of the Five Cuban men, who were arrested for having infiltrated Miami- based anti-Cuba groups and trying to prevent criminal actions against the island. Julian Gutierrez Alonso, the coordinator of the University Network said that the forum also seeks to clear out any doubts concerning the Five’s case. Click here to access the forum
| Realizarán universitarios foro interactivo sobre Los Cinco
31 de marzo de 2008 Habana, 31 mar (AIN) Un Foro Interactivo sobre el tema "La lucha universitaria por la liberación de los Cinco cubanos antiterroristas presos en cárceles norteamericanas" se efectuará el próximo día dos. La Red de Universidades en Solidaridad con los Cinco (RUSC) convocó a todos los alumnos de la enseñanza superior de Cuba y el mundo a participar en este intercambio de opiniones, refiere el periódico Juventud Rebelde en su edición dominical. Al foro se podrá acceder el miércoles venidero, de nueve de la mañana a 12:00 del día, a través de la dirección electrónica http://5heroes.cujae.edu.cu/foro En saludo al aniversario 46 de la Unión de Jóvenes Comunistas, la iniciativa da continuidad al panel realizado el 13 de febrero último -como parte del Congreso Universidad 2008- en favor de Los Cinco. El principal tema en discusión será ¿Qué podemos y debemos hacer los universitarios de Cuba y el mundo para ayudar a la liberación de los cinco cubanos presos injustamente en cárceles norteamericanas? Julián Gutiérrez Alonso, coordinador de la Red, expresó que se espera con el encuentro aclarar dudas en torno a este caso e incorporar a la lucha a todos los jóvenes que aún no formen parte de la red.
