Santa Cruz, Bolivia, Mar 31 (Prensa Latina) The Fourth Alternative Social Meeting, a Santa Cruz education centers initiative, demanded the release of the Five Cuban antiterrorist unjustly imprisoned in United States for fighting terrorism.

In a panel over the arbitrary process and imprisonment of Ramon Labañino, René González, Gerardo Hernández, Antonio Guerrero and Fernando González, since 1998, solidarity group members also condemned violations of elemental human rights in this case.

During the conclusions of the forum, last Sunday, they also approved a declaration denouncing the mainstream media silence over the Cuban Five, as they are known worldwide, who remain in high security prisons.

The document rejects Washington terrorist policy and its double morality, while covering real criminals like Luis Posada Carriles it hushes the fact that five innocent Cubans are in US prisons, added the text.

The Bolivian solidarity movement with the island also highlighted Cuban and Venezuelan help in important programs of education and health, as part of the Bolivarian Alternatives Agreements for Our Americas (ALBA).

The 2-day Fourth Social Alternative Agreement was held under the theme Another Bolivia is Possible.
